WHAT IS THE PTA?
The PTA (Parent Teacher
Association) is a cooperative organization between the Parents and Teachers
whose efforts enrich the school experience for the children, the teachers and
the parents.
WHAT DOES THE PTA DO?
The PTA
sponsors a variety of activities for the children that the teachers would not
otherwise have the resources to offer.
PTA funds
also support the enhancement of the school's building and grounds.

CHARACTER
EDUCATION
Our
PTA and school work together to encourage and award the characteristics of Responsibility,
Respect, Courage, Kindness, Self-Discipline, Integrity, Perseverance, Good
Judgment, and Improvement.
We participate in Cary Towne Center's Character Rewards program.
Special events that PTA sponsors
-Fall
Festival
This is a great family
event that is a lot of fun with games, arts and crafts, food, "Kiss the Farm
Animal" contest and more.
-Frogapalooza
A Celebration of the Arts including showcased artwork from
each TCE student, performances, food, auctions, The Scrap Exchange (where kids
build a masterpiece from Junk) and teacher time raffles (win an outing with
your teacher).
-Field Day
Super
Outdoor End of Year event.
