2007- 2008

 

 The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a cooperative organization between the Parents and Teachers whose efforts enrich the school experience for the children, the teachers and the parents.     

The PTA sponsors a variety of activities for the children that the teachers would not otherwise have the resources to offer. 

PTA funds also support the enhancement of the school's building and grounds.

• Tony Peacock (Writer in Residence for our 4th graders)

 

Our PTA and school work together to encourage and award the characteristics of Responsibility, Respect, Courage, Kindness, Self-Discipline, Integrity, Perseverance, Good Judgment, and Improvement.

We participate in Cary Towne Center's Character Rewards program.

-Fall Festival

This is a great family event that is a lot of fun with games, arts and crafts, food, "Kiss the Farm Animal" contest and more. 

-Frogapalooza

A Celebration of the Arts including showcased artwork from each TCE student, performances, food, auctions, The Scrap Exchange (where kids build a masterpiece from Junk) and teacher time raffles (win an outing with your teacher).

Super Outdoor End of Year event.
