Health and Safety (News)
The Health and Safety Committee works with the school to implement and support TCE with activities related to the Health and Safety of the students. Some of the things we are working on this year are:
- Refill first aid kits provided to the classrooms
- Health and Safety Monthly Focus Topics
- Sun Safety
- Disaster Planning
These topics are meant to educate our children as well as their families about potential safety hazards and ways to improve general health.

Jellybeans Nights (News)
Work with Jellybeans skating rink to set up TCE student only skate nights.

Legislative (News)
Keep PTA and parents up to date on current legislation that may affect our school and/or children. Attend Legislative committee meetings in the Wake PTA council.

School Directory
Help collect and compile data. Help print and distribute directories.

School Store
Purchase items for school store. Organize or work in store every Friday morning.

Help VP of Programs and Student Council in organizing and promoting a schoolwide service project,
such as Pennies for Patients, Diabetes Walk, math-a-thon for St, Jude's, etc.

Staff Appreciation/Hospitality (News)
Help organize bi-monthly events for staff, remember birthdays, and organize Teacher Appreciation Week. Help provide "goodies" for these events.
