"Einstein and the Black Fabric of
Space"
Critical Thinking Skills.
Creative Problem Solving.
Scientific Thinking applied to Everyday Life.
|
|
In character as Albert Einstein, Dr. Arden Bercovitz shares stories, paints vivid word pictures, and draws wonderful metaphors, stretching their imagination and thinking, using Einstein and physics as his teaching tools.
Student volunteers demonstrate and test a hypothesis that takes everyone through a process of understanding gravity, mass, volume, the speed of light, bending of space, black holes, and asking good questions.
They learn a lot of science and have a great time, too.
Educational, practical, inspirational and entertaining, this program teaches thinking skills applicable to every aspect of life. It's a terrific springboard to encourage additional discussion and discovery, and it's superb as a family event.
"Science is just a refinement of everyday thinking."
-- Albert Einstein

Tarradiddle Players is the Resident
Touring Company of Children's Theatre of Charlotte. We're happy to be
celebrating the company's 34th season! The Players' founder, the late
Constance Welsh, started the Tarradiddle Players to bring the joy and
wonder of the stage to audiences who might otherwise never see live
theatre, but even she might be surprised to see how much her dream has
grown. The Tarradiddle Players have now performed for over one million
children, in schools, community centers -- towns big and small -- across
the Southeast, bringing smiles (and maybe a tear or two) to the faces of
everyone they meet. And the Tarradiddle Players performances on the
Children's Theatre MainStage are consistently among the best loved by
critics and audiences alike.
