2007-2008 Reflections Program
“I can make a difference by . . .”
Each year, the National PTA Reflections Program recognizes outstanding student works. This year they have added two new categories bringing the total up to six categories: literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts, dance choreography, and film/video production.
The theme for 2007-2008 is “I can make a difference by . . .” Participating students should think about what the theme means to them, and let their ideas and talent shine by creating an original piece of artwork in one of the six categories. This is a great opportunity for our students to work on an independent project and take pride in creating something all on their own.
Projects will be due between December 1st and 15th to be judged at the local (school) level. There are two divisions at the elementary level: Primary (K – 2) and Intermediate (3-5). TCE winning projects in each category (in each division) will move on to be judged at the Wake Council level on January 9th. Students may enter more than one category. Projects may be dropped off at the TCE front office.
Please read the entry criteria BEFORE you start your project, and please contact Ruchi Bhatia, 2007-2008 Reflections Chair, at bhatiaruchi@gmail.com if you have questions. The General Rules, Category Rules and Entry Form can be found
on the forms page. |
