Family Emergency Plans were recently sent home in
a red plastic folder. Please read the information
contained in the folder and share it with your family.
Thoughout the school year, you will be receiving
more information on different types of emergencies
that you and your family can prepare for. Keep the
information in a central location in your home so
that it can be easily accessible by all family members.

The Health and Safety Committee works with
the school to implement activities that
educate our students and their families about
safety hazards and ways to improve general
health. Some of the things we are working on
this year include:
- Monthly focus topics such as water safety,
eye safety, dental health, good eating and
sleeping habits, stress reduction, internet
safety and stranger dangers, and more.
- Disaster and emergency planning.
- Refilling first aid kits in the classrooms.
All the information that will be sent home will
also be available on our website

areas listed above, please contact Hala Issa,
Health and Safety chair 367-8357.

All classrooms at TCE have health kits that need to be replenished
throughout the school year. Donations are needed for the following items
for each health kit:
- 2x2 gauze
- nonlatex knee and elbow bandages (extra large)
- small wipes packages
- small hand sanitizers
Please send any of these items in to your teacher. Your donations are
greatly appreciated. Contact Hala Issa, Health & Safety Committee
