Parent Tips for End-of-Grade Testing
EOGs will be given to students in grades 3-5 on May 22–24 for Track 1
and June 12–14 for Tracks 2, 3 and 4
Your child's teacher has been working all year to help prepare students for the EOG
tests. You can help your child be successful on his/her EOGs by doing the following:
- Make sure he/she gets a good night's sleep.
- Talk with your child about any anxieties he/she may be experiencing.
- Provide your child a healthy breakfast. Child Nutrition Services and TCE
will be supporting students by providing a FREE and nutritious breakfast
at 8:45a.m. each morning of the EOGs.
- Make sure your child arrives on time. Tests will begin promptly
at 9:15a.m.
- Don't schedule any doctor or dentist appointments for the
mornings of the tests.
- Smile and give encouragement!
