How it Works!
March 1st through March 12th
Step 1: Students, set your reading GOAL!
Students, talk with your parents and teachers to set a realistic goal for your daily reading. This reading goal represents the number of 10 minutes blocks you are committing to read per day for seven days. The days don't have to be in a row, just make sure to log the minutes in your reading log. For our younger readers, having a book read to you will also count towards your goal.
Step 2: Register online and collect PLEDGES that support your reading goal.
Talk to your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and friends for flat rate pledges to show their support of your reading goal and your school. Flat rate pledges are based on the reading goal that you set and to show their support and help raise money for your school.

Step 3: Pick up your favorite books and READ, read, and read some more!
Now it's time to reach or exceed your goal! The only way to do that is to find a good book and READ!

the more places you'll go.
Step 4: Complete your READING LOG and be eligible to earn prizes.
Complete your reading log as you go and check on your class progress throughout the Read-a-thon. Earn prizes based on how much you read and how much your raise in donations. Share your completed reading log with your donors and send them a special thank you!!
